Final Blog Post-International Resoures

I have learned a lot about from the UNSECO throughout the duration of this course. Three big things that I have learned about this organization is that they are committed to advancing Early Childhood Education around the world, they partner with other organizations to help children and families in need, and they working to better understand science to help provide a better future for our current and future generations. I think this is a great organization to use to find information on Early Childhood Education and plan to use this website for future research.
One goal I have for the future is to expand my international resources to learn more about education around the world. I think it is important to understand how all of the countries around the world view education and we can all work together to help provide children with a brighter educational future. I plan on finding more websites like this one to continue my quest for knowledge of early childhood education in hopes of becoming a better educator for my current and future students.

  1. Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for sharing! It has been nice reading what you have learned about this organization during this course. I also agree with you about the importance of being aware how other countries view early education, it helps us reflect on what is working and not within the United States.

  2. Hi,

I have enjoyed reading many of your blog posts throughout this course. I too used the UNESCO website, along with the Global Children's Fund to do research on international matters. I think both provide excellent information on educating others about what is being done to improve the quality of early childhood education around the world. I think it would prove beneficial to continue to research other sites to not only be informed of what is being done internationally, but also to apply those efforts to American issues. Thank you for your input in this course and I wish you much success on your continued educational journey :)

  3. Hi Jennifer,

Truly, the UNESCO website is an insightful one. I learnt a lot about how early childhood development is handled in different countries. The UNICEF website is another enlightening one too. Before I took this course, I always thought that most of these issues would be peculiar to developing countries like mine but knowing that developed countries are also combating these issues is reassuring because one is certain that these issues are being looked into.

Thank you for your post and I wish you the very best as you proceed with your studies.

  4. Hi Jennifer,

I reviewed the UNESCO site and found it to be very educational as well. I enjoyed many of the sites that I reviewed because I received great feedback of knowledge. Learning about organizations that can help inspires me and enhance my thoughts, knowledge, and professionalism is great! Knowing that there are advocates in the world for families to succeed or have the ability to learn knowledge is great resource. Thank you for you post and I am glad you were successful at finding great information. I wish you great luck on completing this program and hope to join you in another course.
